We had our Thanksgiving Unit the week before Thanksgiving. For one of our crafts we made Turkey centerpieces. They turned out so cute. All of the kids did such a great job on their turkeys. We learned about the Pilgrims and Indians and made costumes. We then had our Thanksgiving feast with yummy sweet potatoes, turkey, fruit, and pumkin pie.
During our bug unit, we learned all about different types of bugs and their characteristics. We even went on a bug hunt to try to find bugs in our own backyard. Each of the kids had their own bug catchers.
The hunt was on! We looked under bushes and trees to find any kind of bug. Our hunt was looking unsuccessful, so we decided to hide some plastic bugs for them to find. We were sad that no real bugs were found, but satisfied with the plastic ones. It was a pretty fun day.
We started Wiggle Worm Preschool in August 2007. It's been so much fun and we have really enjoyed the kids and hope to add more students. Amy graduated from A.S.U. in Elementary Education and taught second grade at Spectrum Elementary, and the next year she taught morning kindergarten. She has two adorable girls and a great husband named Marcus.
Tricia is married to her husband (great) of 27 years and they have 6 children, ranging from ages 16 to 26, 4 daughters and 2 sons. She is the very excited and proud grandma of 2 grandsons and 3 granddaughters whom she adores. Amy and Tricia love doing preschool together and working with your wonderful children!
